We lost the Ashes, but the Barmy army had a great time! Far better than if they stayed in England...

This is true, it's far better to rub the Aussies noses in it right in their backyard.

God bless the Barmy Army, I'd like to say they are also ruining a few Australian lassies as we speak too, but we all know it's the other way round...
