It's a 2 stroke engine.

My point is that for all its size and weight there are engines out there that are far better at making that power level efficiently.

Engines that weigh half as much can make twice the power. 2 strokes have been turbo'd before but yeah its not optimal. I didn't watch enough of the video to hear that bit. But I still think the engine itself is little more than a conversation piece. There are better/cheaper ways to make that power.
