Ok well im getting this error code when installing Cyberlink Powerdirector 6, yes i own it before anyone asks.

Then why are you even asking us? Why not do what Microsoft suggests in that KB and, "contact your software manufacturer for installation support on the product"? If you've paid for a legitimate product then contact their support and get them to help you. Anyway there's several locations you can download the MS Installer Clean Up Utility...
