My co worker towed his 'home' from Florida to New Mexico.

Oh stfu it's just ignorance... a toyota avensis will tow everything from horses to boats and it's only a 2.2L 4 cilinder (400nm..)

According to Toyota's own site it's rated to tow 1100lbs so you're not going to be towing a great deal, especially not up hill.
