I'll take it in as per the recall and see if that sorts it out (should it happen again). I have also heard that leaving the car unlocked means part of the electronics don't shut down fully. That could have something to do with it as I don't lock it at work.

Can I ask which unnaturally safe part of the UK you work in, so that you can leave your car unlocked during your working day? I wouldn't even do it on our secure car park!
