If America doesn't lead, someone else will.

It may be a surprise to some, but I am a liberal, a Democrat and generally find little positive about Republican actions.

However I believe Nixon had a vision and that he was right. The World has to find a new way. The old pattern of western colonial dominance of the last 500 years is coming to end. Do we want to be a part of the future, or just a footnote?
