Actually, if you do get stuck I can probably help. We run quite a lot of loyalty and rewards schemes so I have quite a good idea of what gets people engaged in a scheme (or club).

The best trick is to make them think they are getting much better value for money than they really are. People love ANYTHING they perceive as free. I'll give you an example - at t in the park last year we took 2,000 totally shitty keyring torches. To get one you had to receive a bluetooth message from us which contained advertising. People were fighting to get them and we ran out within 6 hours. I think these things cost us about 35pence each from China and the return on investment through the advertising was about 145%.
