I really, really wanted to like this. I've seen all the Freddy movies, enjoyed most of them(even though I know they are 'bad'), and was very excited to see this. I ignored all the negative reviews and thought the trailers looked very promising.

Unfortunately, the film sucked. Totally sucked balls, in fact. Terrible acting from everyone but Jackie Earle Haley(Freddy), terrible plotline, terrible, cheesy dialog, overly clean, hollywoodized cinematography, lame backstory with nonsensical plot points, really poor use of CGI... I could go on and on... But the worst fault of the film, is it wasn't scary in the slightest!

Jackie was good, and the opening scene was good, but other than that there wasn't a single redeeming point in this film. 3/10.
