Seriously buddy, you get a phone worth £500++ then expect it to survive the harsh rigours of your average joe's pocket (coins, keys etc) and then when it gets a couple of cracks your surprised.

I would have immediately bought a screen protector and a nice flip open leather case,
Actually I DID, when I bought my got my old Samsung Omnia, £10 for the screen protector and £15 for the leather case and do you know what, A year later sold it in A1 condition, as good as it came out the box.

Seriously, get some common sense!
I bought an iPhone partly because I like how it looks, which is ruined with a case on it. No other phone I have ever owned has been damaged like this, including three other iPhones. I expect it to get scratched but I don't expect the case to fall apart. And from my experience of Apple they wouldn't have swapped it if the damage was wear and tear!

Can anyone recommend a case for my car, wallet, sat nav, pen, watch and coat. I've just realised that I am stupidly carrying all of these things around without any protective housings!!!

I can't believe that there are actually people who are so gullible that they think it's acceptable for a £500 product not to have been manufactured with enough quality control to survive being in a pocket.
