There's more to the story than the way it was portrayed by the media. I can't find the article, but one of the NFL.com writers had a detailed analysis of what went down in the club from various sources and apparently the group of gals had been following Ben from club to club and the one he targeted was wearing a sticker that said "DTF", which means "Down to ****". But at the same time I do think that Ben has some sort of a problem as well (where there's smoke, there's usually fire). As much as I hate to see Ben leave the club (if it comes to that), I can totally see where the Rooney's are coming from. They never do put up with anything that brings negativity to the team.

I do think it was wrong for Goodell to impose a suspension of 6 games though. He is so friggin' inconsistent and made an example out of someone that didn't even get charged. I would have thought that a 2-game suspension would have been appropriate (max). Unless he's sending some kind of message that he is no longer putting up with anything from any player and that future players will be dealt with heavily, but he hasn't said that and history shows how random his penalties are...
