3k a month? WTF is she doing? Thats enough money to live comfortably without working at all for a single person. In fact, my mom used to support myself and my 2 sisters on less than that per month sometimes. All on her own!

I know school and crap is expensive, but does she not have a job? Child Support is supposed to be to support the CHILD. Not the damned woman and her house.

My one ex was divorced, she had a kid too. She was getting child support, but it was not always on time. Her ex husband was in college, and she was unforgiving, even though he was trying to improve things overall. She would not allow him to see the kid until he paid everything too. Keep in mind, he always did, it was just a month or two behind. She made plenty of money on her own, and I don't see how she spent the money on her son. She used to just blow through money shopping and stuff, buying other random ****, and then would complain about not getting the child support. It's an f'ed up system. This was also a red flag to break up. God forbid I got her pregnant, I'd be typing on a K6 right now.
