its only racist when black people are portrayed as monkeys/apes. when george bush was portrayed as a chimp (the many times) nobody says a peep.

Do you not see the context though? It's a bit like saying you draw a picture of Obama as golliwog or a minstrel and everyone says you are a racist but draw one of George Bush and nobody says a peep.
