As long as I can find somewhere around me that will do this, I'll probably go for it, as it was my first idea...and he won't totally hate me for it. Apparently some places ask for your passport before doing currency exchanges...but I don't have a passport (not much of a traveler I guess).
You lose money on the exchange rate.
