I remember reading something years ago, where they asked a number of questions to the average American and 70% of those polled thought that Rabbits laid Eggs.

But I guess that's to do with the Easter bunny and Chocolate eggs, so I guess that's why a lot of people got confused.

Personally, I was interested in Science from Quite an early age, and with my father working in a Nuclear power station as well as being an accomplished Electronics "wizkid" amongst other things, I learned quite a lot from him as a lot of his hobbies and interests became mine.

But kids of today, are less into learning about the practical side of how things work and more into the Internet and other such tech.
