Just curious shervin, but are you using the bog standard Ubuntu on that netbook?

Thinking of installing it on my eeepc901...

It runs flawlessly so far

It makes the Atom feel a lot faster than it really is but the HDD is still a set back, maybe in the future I will put an SSD in it. I use the netbook mostly for coding UIs for my n900 and surfing the net.

Last night I had the netbook on while I was in bed and I fell asleep watching father ted :P I woke up hours later and the laptop was still on but down to 86% from full charge hahaha

Homebrew: It is the very first model of the acer one netbooks. Bog standard, but it had the best keyboard IMO at the time so I got it.

Robbie: I don't try to save power in any way at all, full brightness, performance mode, always play internet radio in the background, flash intensive web browsing, and I used to watch a lot of netflix.
