Have to log in to view, any chance of a general gist of it?
Sure.

The gist is user requires instructions as to why their smoke alarm is making intermittent noises, then instructions on if the battery can be replaced, and then instructions on where to buy said battery. Said battery is standard PP3 9V type as used in most, if not all, smoke alarms.

how on earth can anyone reach adulthood without knowing how to buy a battery
Indeed.
