idk about over in your part of the world bungle, but in high school here, it is quite common for freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors to be in the same class. There isn't a rigid structure per se, and there are electives and such where it happens.
Ah, I see. Over here your age dictates which class you are in. Ages aren't mixed.....at least that's how it worked when I was at school.
