This is what happens when one website misquotes another website's misquote of an original source:

In other words, the mean relative impact speed between collided asteroids is in the order of 11,000 mph - the individual velocity of each object relatively to the Sun will be much higher, although there is no indication of what that is in this particular instance.
That's a load of crap. A government coverup. It is well known what an astroid actually looks like, and they aren't blue..
