Everyone deserves a chance

Can they not have a chance in the afterlife?

Anyways I find it funny that stuff like this (the earthquake at least) becomes big news. I mean in the past 5 or so years I've learned about a few countries that I've never heard of before due to earthquakes.

Does the media not have anything better to do that they now have to focus on disasters and only the bad side of the world that they make everyone think the world is falling apart.

I know it's a popularity rating thing and more people tend to watch when something blows up, I'll admit myself I would rather see some explosions then see some old women feeding a cat on the news. But it's beginning to brainwash people. Half of my family have already been brainwashed by the media and think the world is falling apart and the end of the world is near.

It's driving me bonkers.
