  • Completely silent
  • No need for a media server software
  • Plays most movie formats (including MKV)
  • Will have Netflix soon
  • Top notch interface with remote control
  • 1080P upscaling with HDMI
  • FTP server (with third party firmware)
  • Allows me to play my 2TB of media on my HT system across my condo, allowing me (and my guests ) to sit on my couch instead of on a computer chair
  • Allows me to watch BluRay video through my BluRay ROM drive in complete silence
Shall I continue?

Why do you think it is worthless?
I'm fully aware of what it does. However, I can do that entire list (besides the remote control) and more in silence with my computer, while it being in another room and still being physically hooked up to my television. All it took was a 20 dollar HDMI cable and an a hole in a blank wall plate on each side of the wall.

Obviously I benefited from having a convenient apartment setup, however, I would still argue that that there's more versatility in spending a little more for a cheap silent HTPC than spending $150 on this. Of course, that's only an opinion. I was just interested in why you liked it.
