cool. i'm looking into getting this.Bestbuy has it on sale right now. How is the interface with windows?Is it easy to browse through media folders?

I bought it from Best Buy for on sale! [thumbup]

You can use Windows Explorer as the interface. I do not have any storage on the device itself. I have two 1TB drives on media on my desktop and use the file browser in the WD Live to browse my file shares, then directly play them from the drive.

You can do it the other way too. You can connect a HD to the device and share it with the rest of your network the same way.

The only reason that I do not do this is because my drives are Internal SATA drives, otherwise I would.

The on-screen interface is pretty good and quick (if you keep the "menu fade" option off).
