I'm fully aware of what it does. However, I can do that entire list (besides the remote control) and more in silence with my computer, while it being in another room and still being physically hooked up to my television. All it took was a 20 dollar HDMI cable and an a hole in a blank wall plate on each side of the wall.

Obviously I benefited from having a convenient apartment setup, however, I would still argue that that there's more versatility in spending a little more for a cheap silent HTPC than spending $150 on this. Of course, that's only an opinion. I was just interested in why you liked it.
Can you build an HTPC for nearly 120USD (the current selling price) that is silent and outputs 1080P? What about operating costs?

What about the interface? Mouse and keyboard? No thank you.

I believe that the remote and GUI are worth the 120USD alone. Not to mention the fact that you can have a low power file server running 24/7.
