I am not sure that I have played videos with that bitrate, never paid attention to it. Though, I have a BluRay Rip at 1080P that plays fine. Remember, the decoding is done on the device itself, not through a media server on the PC. It transfers the actual MKV over the network and decompresses it on the fly.

If you are suggesting network issues, they could always be resolved with a direct USB connection to the hard disk, but I have had no issues so far (aside from HAVING to have my computer powered on)I have NFI. I would assume that it is proprietary though. Check this out:

So it doesn't do internet? Hulu etc...

I have an old 1.4 Duron XP machine hooked up to my tv (which is a crappy 27" CRT.) As you can see my standards are low, but for me to want one it would have to be able to go to websites. Since thats the only tv i have.

Oops, forgot this was about Netflix on the Wii. If my wii wasnt dead and i couldnt already do netflix on my computer, I would be interested.
