I'm placing you on my ignore list, for failing to list Maurice Jarre (Laurence of Arabia, Dr Zhivago, Dead Poets Society) and Vangelis!

But film scores are meant to be enjoyed with films, no?

I'm putting you on my ignore list for not listing Jacob's Ladder!

I will say that the standout film scores can be heavily enjoyed outside of their cinema context.
