I lose my license for 3 months doing 34km over the limit.

Was racing against a friend at the time and was easily doing over 140 in a 70 zone when the radar gun got us, but when the cop pulled me over he saw that we weren't really meat-heads and had no previous driving records and were driving fairly modest cars, so he went back to his car to talk to the other officer and then re-approached me and said: "This is how it is.... I am pretty sure my radar gun said 114km/h mate". Which is 1km under the 35 and over tier. Anything above that and it would've given me the same type of penatly as Lenny got. Was damn lucky and only got a 3 months suspension, and a relatively small fine.

Never did it again.

And and a word of advice Lenny. DO NOT DRIVE WHEN YOU ARE SUSPENDED. Everyone always thinks "why not", but think about this: No matter what you are being pulled over for (RBT, traffic check, etc) they check your license, and if you are not meant to be driving you will get your ass handed to you. If you can't go six months without seeing a cop for an RBT, or something innocent like that, then you can't go six months without getting caught... period. Out of all the people I know who have driven despite being suspended, not one of them has managed to avoid getting caught at some stage. If you do, say goodbye not only to your current job, but pretty much most potential jobs too.

In fact the only think I recommend you do is learn your lesson, and enjoy riding the bus.
