im wanting to replace a LG dare... i had the all data plan for awhile, but the browser was horrible. I am now on a voice and text plan, but i want to find out if i can still get widgets by just connecting to the net via wi-fi. if so, its almost a done deal

I was under the impression that you needed to have the $30 email plan at a minimum to have a Droid or any smartphone on Verizon. That's what kept me from getting an Omnia. I could afford it at the moment, but my job situation isn't exactly all that stable, so if I can keep costs down...

I guess I can look on the bright side, and by the time I'm eligible for a new plan, 4G LTE should be up and running. The fun begins then.
