Yea, i was going to go back and shove the phone in that womens face, but my mom and grandma (who were with me there, and what kept me from just going off on the women for lying to me like that) talked me out of it. I knew she was lying, i called her on it, yet she just kept spilling the script like answer as to why not. I'm going to find out the store's number and call and file a complaint against her though, considering how much crap it was she told me. Guess she never understood the fact that the best lies are partially true in some form or another.

As for how the phone is, i'm in love so far. No problems yet with it. Had to update the roaming capabilities though as i'm in an area that was previously alltel. So every now and then i'd see it jump to 1x from 3g. That's taken care of though so it's all good. [thumbup] Finding all sorts of cool apps that will do things i want like a ledger to keep track of my checking account on my phone vs having to write down the amount in my account on a piece of paper and sticking it in my wallet.

As for the $30 data plan, yes you have to have it for the droid. You have to have it for any smartphone for that matter. Just like you have to have the blackberry internet plan if you have a blackberry.
