yeah i just looked at their plans....

this is BS, if someone could explain, please do.

I had an all data plan originally for my Dare... ok, unlimited web surfing, vz navigator, texts, picture messsages email.. the works... it was 79$ plan with 450 anytime minutes...

the same plan on a smartphone is $99... wtf is the difference?!

They make more money, that's the difference. I guess they have to make up for letting you use Google Maps instead of VZNavigator somehow.

I believe that T-Mobile is my next stop, but unfortunately I've got a little while to go for that to happen.

BTW, you can get a normal plan and add the data plan to it. $39.99 voice + text + $29.99 email and web. Without the texts, it adds up to $69.98 + all of your regular Verizon taxes and misc. fees that will push the bill closer to $100 easy.
