Unless they have video evidence of seen it themselves or have pictures of you hitting or abusing your kids, they cannot take them away. Unless laws are different there my mum never properly looked after my younger brothers, she even once left me looking after them for 3 days with no money and barely any food. I had to feed them and go with very little food myself for 3 whole days. Yet docs (same as child protective services) don't do stuff all. But this was when my mum was on the sh*t and wasn't herself, she's changed a lot since then, for the better. Anyways, don't worry. Get yourself a lawyer but not straight away. Wait till they come around again and see what's up. Your kids will likely tell you everything that was spoken to them by the child protective services people. That way you can get an idea of what they have against you.
