no she actually isnt trying to defend herself at all, in fact she said she doesnt expect me to forgive her. I know ill be able to move on but it just sucks when you didnt want to, and now have to.

At least that's something in her favour, she may have been very ashamed by her actions and e-mailed rather than tell you in person for that reason - but you must both get checked before you decide what is best for both of you.
I would still be dis-inclined to take her back, but that's something the two of you will have to sort out yourselves, depending on what is best for you.
Either way, ignore the extreme comments and I hope things work out, whatever you decide.
