My best friend and I (me?) wanna pay Dirty Harry's city a visit next year, and are currently planning the whole thing.

Maybe there are any Onions from San Francisco, LA or anything in between here? And maybe you kind sirs have some hints and informations we could use. Any cheap (clean) hotels, what places to visit, and so on. We's stay for about 3 weeks and want to see more of the area than just SF. LA too and maybe Las Vegas.

Time will be September 2010, but we want to book the flights as soon as possible because its cheaper then.

In case someone would like to have a beer with a fellow onion from overseas PM me. )

LA SF = 8 hours
LA Vegas = 4 hours

And that does not really include the traffic you will hit (unless you drove after 10PM).

If you end up in SoCal, be sure to check out Huntington Beach, Venice Beach and Newport Beach. the ride along the beach is full of cool things to see (read: voluptuous women).
