To be honest i just floored mine as soon at it was warm. I had to completely adjust my mentality towards driving cars. Can't be afraid to bounce it off the limiter and keep the rev's high.

Not sure how important it is with Honda engines. But if they advise a break in period I'd stick to it. If you don't, you may end up with an engine down on power for the entirety of it's life.
