doesn't your range have a pitching/putting green area?

Big fan of the game myself, but have been busy lately and am afraid my game has suffered.

Unfortunately, no. It's that nasty green turf to hit off of as well. Fine for drivers, but terrible to hit irons off of. No give to it at all. I take my pitching wedge out into my back yard and chip practice balls around now.[thumbup]
