Yes that's my point, a pro will be good with any club. But give a hacker my Titleist blades and they they lose control very easily.

And no I'm not a salesmen, just a golfer who has played for 25+ years and seen what the technology has done to hackers.

Give Tiger Woods a set of clubs from 40 years ago and he would still play within 1-2 shots of his usual round (the driver would be the only thing he really looses out on, but he would still hit it 300+ yards regardless)

But give Joe Bloggs that same set and they would gain 5-10 shots a round.

Golf balls are what have aided the pro's more than Joe Bloggs, the new balls have added 20 yards and impoved control to the pro's. All this is almost wasted on Joe Bloggs who is fighting hook or a slice and does not want the ball to spin more.
