With the close of the Pontiac brand, the factory that made the GTO has been running at half the capacity, so Holden are looking for another US export oppertunity. It's not based off the Commodore though, it's based off the long wheel base Statesman/Caprice cars, Holdens luxuary line. They sound pretty confident they will get the deal, and you guys will see these puppies on the road in 2011.
