Was reading about both those cars the other day in a article about finding a suitable Police car after the old Crown Victorias go out of production.
The Holden is a proven, roomy car with heaps of power but not proven in American Law Enforcement - and may face some resistance as it's seen as being non-American.
Why? the crown vic is built in Canada, and the Holden has an American engine anyway. So it evens out the "american-ness" of it.

If they really see that as a problem they are more clueless than I thought.
