9 hours every day at work +some more hours afterwards.. i do get some "exercise" daily.. mostly walking to and from work (amounts to around 30-40minute brisk walks a day)

the latest hour i get some coffee in my body is around 3 or 4pm, and i make it a point not to drink any caffeinated drink past 7pm. the annoying thing is it happens really randomly, ive been living with a "proper" body clock for a long time now (sleep around 11pm wake up at 6am) and suddenly this thing strikes me again :\

and i read (actually skimmed .. very lightly) on the Polyphasic thing just now, and i dont think it'll work for me. im the type of guy that if a nap for like 2 hours in the afternoon, it could easily keep me awake till the next morning
Read it in detail

in a VERY summarized way it comes down to this. The everyman sleep patern means you'll be sleeping a "Core" nap of no longer than 3 hours during the night; then, you will nap three times during the rest of the day (you work out the spread) and the naps should not be longer than 20 mins. Total time sleep = 4 Hours.

If you're feeling hardcore, then go for the Uberman. The ideal objective is to sleep no more than 20 minutes, 6 times a day in an even spread (every 4 hours). Total sleep time = 2hours. - I can tell you right off the bat that this one is "extremely" hard to adapt to, but there are people who have done it.

As I said, read more in detail. You're already living hell by not being able to sleep, so this may help, as I said earlier, people with sleeping disorders have been given these patterns as treatments so read more about it.
