And how is the iPhone any different? You need iTunes to manage your music and even iTune itself s*cks @ss and half the time doesn't do what you want it too. The only other way to get music on your iPhone is via a special program and I don't think it supports many formats.
That is the point, the iPhone still is the best smartphone DESPITE the shortcomings because the competition is ****ing up the simplest things (HTC chin and slow cpu, Nokia still keeping the physical keyboard, Palm using WinMobile).

Now for a music phone (media phone would be a better description), the competition was also not offering something usefull until now.


You don't seem to get that I want to have alternatives to Apple and I want them to be better but I am pissed off that the competition keeps failing simple at things that would not happen under my lead. I am not happy either that the MBPs are the best Windows notebooks, but if people keep saying they are too expensive without being able to show something that is really comparable they are in denial because they just don't like Apple. They should be hating the competition for not delivering instead.
