Isn't the new dodge ram coil sprung all round?

I would say it's more down to the cost than outright capability.

I'm 100% sure a coilsprung pickup will behave better than a leaf sprung one, it's just going to cost more.

Yeah, I just bought a 2009 RAM 1500 in early June. Coils all around. Makes for an excellent ride. The towing capacity went down by about 500 pounds while also shedding weight in the truck itself. Total towing capacity is 7600 pounds, down from 8100 pounds.
