_FAKE_; the larger the telescope the more light you can recieve so the further you can see. You can only see objects by either light reflecting off of them like planets or by the object emanating light like stars.
Yea I know that much, the Hubble Telescope took something like 3+ months doing nothing but collecting light until it could zoom in to the centre of the universe (at least i think it was 3 months). Was really cool imo.

Is it expensive though to create/make large telescopes? I always wondered why they couldn't make one a lot larger then the Hubble and put it out in space. but the new one is meant to do just that right, but is infrared.
