I heard that Internet is expensive is slow and expensive in New Zealand (compared with other developed nations around the world). Is this true?

If it's true, is it because their Internet signals come and go through satellite rather than undersea cables?

On a slightly different note, aluminium foil is relatively cheap there so you can make plenty of hats.
