I have a PNG file that i would like to make much larger, but without pix-elation effects. How could i accomplish this. If i had Adobe Illustrator i guess i could vectorize it and then make is larger and save it as a PNG again.

It is a simple logo image, nothing complex.

You basically have no choice but to work with vectors. If you just upscale the image, you are going to have to manually edit it to remove the interpolation artifacts.
