no, i used to have piercings and it never set anything of when flying.
Afaik Stainless Steel doesn´t set off detectors.

yes, it very much does set off metal detectors. Just a few piercings won't unless they have the sensatvity levels set too low.

She would light it up like a christmas tree im quite sure.
