Would you expect a football player to be anywhere near his best after spending 7 months without even touching a football

Badoer was never really a great F1 driver anyway, which is why he is just a test/backup driver.
Ive seen football players come back after long injury and be man of the match. Whats your point ? 2 seconds slower than others is somehow okay considering the issues ?
My point is...considering the issues he shouldnt have even been in the F1 car anyway, unless embarassing a top tier team is somehow acceptable. They should have not raced him at all in that state.
And they certainly shouldnt race him again after that.

The man is like almost 40, he was never good, so really they need to get somebody else cause he isnt going to get better. Im shocked that a test driver can be so bad, with his pace what exactly is he supposed to be testing ? How slow the car can go without stalling ?
