Badoer DID have physical training (so did the football player he was talking about), so they both were physically able to drive or play...but Badoer didn't do well, his gap was way too large, not on the first day, but he had some laps of practice BEFORE qualifying and the race...so he should have been faster...
Not quite a valid comparison - better to think of the soccer player as doing all his training EXCEPT kicking the football.
