As cool as it sounds... it seems like there is going to be a ton of screens and rechargable batteries that are going to hit our landfills next month.

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking. TBH, large scale printed media is dying, there's just no way around it. Magazines and newspapers, while recyclable, still take a crapload of resources to print, package, deliver, etc.

The digital age is here and devices like the kindle, iphone and other PMP's/PDA's are making it much easier to get the info you need immediately with little to no waste.
