I had it done a few years back. Everyone responds differently to the procedure. For me, it felt like I had some grit in my eye for the first day or so, fuzziness was completely gone shortly after that, and the halos went away after 2 or 3 months. Now from what I have heard from other people is those time frames can be radically different. I had a friend that didn't lose his halos for about 5 or 6 months. When it comes down to it, I am very glad I had the procedure done and have never had second thoughts about it. Oh, and I only had one complication during my procedure. Turns out my eye sockets are smaller then average, so the doctor had a little trouble fitting some of the tools past the bone. It was uncomfortable, but not intolerable. And you won't hardly even feel it when they cut away the cornea.
