not true. there was a lot more left to tell, and btw deadwood still exists today. so does the mine.

it was also meant to be a 5 season show.
"I envisioned each season as one year. The camp was destroyed at the end of four years, and I wanted four seasons" Straight from the creators mouth. There really wasn't much more to tell, just a wind down after the election and the disbnanding of the camp for the 4th season. There may be a town called deadwood, and it may be in the same exact spot as the original camp, but it is not the original camp by any means.
