Right, she refused to accept a speeding ticket, resisted arrest, endangered the lives of the officer and herself, verbally abusive to the officer, and then tried to get back into her car.

The law is the law. No matter your age, gender, ethnicity, etc. She should have never fought the officer trying to give her a ticket. She deserved the ticket FFS. The officer couldn't do much else to get her under control. Better than him bending her bones to put on cuffs while she struggled.
