I am currently looking at the Palm Pre, Nokia N97, HTC magic and iPhone 3 GS.

Is there any one that I've missed? Motorola, Samsung and LG are companies I won't buy from.

Stop looking. Get the iPhone 3GS, and don't look back.

I've had smartphones from Palm, HTC, Samsung... none of them hold a candle to my iPhone 3G. Yes, it won't do EVERYTHING you want, but what it does, it does WELL... and that is enough.

With GPS and WiFi off, but 3G on, I've gotten up to 3 days (!) on a single charge. That's 2X longer than the Samsung blackjack with a new battery.

The Safari browser is fantastic, the apps are many and useful... and it really does just work.
